    This is the only path

The only path that achieves the happiness of mankind

It is the path, which is known to all those who are reasonable and fair. Even though some may deny it publicly, they know that this is the path to eternal bliss. They are similar to those who denied the Prophet-hood of Moses (pbuh) despite his miracles, and thus Allah says the following about them : }And they belied them (those Ayât) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their ownselves were convinced thereof [i.e. those (Ayât) are from Allâh, and Mûsa (Moses) is the Messenger of Allâh in truth, but they disliked to obey Mûsa (Moses), and hated to believe in his Message of Monotheism]. So see what was the end of the Mufsidûn (disbelievers, disobedient to Allâh, evil-doers, liars.)}(An-Naml:14)

Many fair-minded and wise people, even those that do not embrace Islam, know that this is the only path that achieves the happiness of all mankind in both worlds.

This is the path recognized by all those who are free and brave, and those who have the courage to state their opinions, despite restrictions and persecution. They do not fear their selves, other people, or what is new. They do not fear propaganda and previous mental images; in fact nothing prevents such people from embracing this religion. How many a people were prevented by their cowardice, relations, social ties, and fear of commitment from proceeding on the path to happiness? Allah says: {so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers.}(Âl-’Imrân:175)

This is the path... Yes, this is the path to happiness, the path of dignity, compassion, knowledge, civilization and of good morals, though it contains calamities, which is the nature of life and a form of sifting of those walking on it; sifting those who are true from those who are false. Allah says: {Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.}(Al-Mulk:2)

This is the path on which prophets and messengers walked before us, and on which noble companions and those who closely followed them in truth from all tribes, races and languages walked. It is the path which will prevail and lead in the near future. The Prophet (pbuh) said: “This matter will spread as far as night and day reach. Town dwellers or nomads will all follow this religion, voluntarily and glorified (glorified by Allah because they assume the responsibility of the mission) or coercively and humiliated (when they humiliate themselves by giving in to their desires and recklessness).”[Ahmad]Thus, O man, be with the noble crowd walking on this path of eternal happiness.

This is the path. ..and this is success...and this is happiness... that overwhelms the heart of those walking on this path. Therefore, take the path to happiness and do not deny this privilege to your soul nor treat it unjustly, for treating one’s soul unjustly is a grave matter. Allah says: {Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).}(An-Nahl:97)

This is the path... keep to it, and enjoy being on it. Live your worldly life with overwhelming happiness, tranquility and comfort. And do not forget, that which Allah has is better and more lasting, and that comfort in the Afterlife is the eternal comfort. Our God and Lord made the path to happiness one through which contentment is attainted in this world and the Hereafter, and He, on the other hand, placed in the many other paths misery in this world and the Hereafter. He says: {124. “But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur’ân nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection.” 125. He will say: “O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before).”}(Tâ¬-Hâ : 124-125)

He also says: {(Allâh) will say: “Like this, Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. you left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this Day, you will be neglected (in the Hell-fire, away from Allâh’s Mercy).” }(Tâ¬-Hâ : 126)

The beginning and the end of the path

This is the path... It is an easy path that begins with believing in the Oneness of Allah in the heart and putting that into action through physical deeds, and also believing in all the prophets and messengers, and it ends with eternal happiness in the Hereafter. It begins with uttering the two Shahadas (Ash-hadu Ana La ilahaila Allah wa Ash-hadu Ana MuhammadanRasulullah [I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah]), and ends with happiness when the believers will behold the face of Allah in His paradise in the company of His Messenger (pbuh). So say now: Ash-hadu Ana La ilahaila Allah wa Ash-hadu Ana MohammadanRasulullah... and live your life happily, die happily, and be resurrected from your grave happily to enter the Jannat (Paradise) of immortality and happiness ...This is the path...if you do not take it, then the messenger’s duty is only to clearly convey the message, for Allah Almighty says: {“So if you turn away, still I have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least. Surely, my Lord is Guardian over all things.”}(Hûd:57)
